Green and White Cup Challenge

We thought Checkers needed a little 'FUN' inter- rivalry between members. Now you can cheer for or against other Checkers members!
We have randomly chosen all current members who have paid through at least 2026, using the 'Wheel of Names' application to either the Green Team or the White Team. Once you are assigned a team, you are on that team for the life of your membership at Checkers.
Members of each team will be awarded a point for each race that they participate in. (Unfortunately, virtual races will not be counted - only real races.) However these races can be out of town races!
If you forget what color team you are on, not to fear as it will be listed on the member list and the website will track your races and points for your team!
In the future, points may be awarded to team members who attend Checkers functions, but currently it will just be used for every race you run.
At the end of the year, at our October Club Awards Banquet, the cup will be awarded to the Green or White team, the team with the most points.
