Team Checkers
Have you ever wanted to be put on a relay
team or be included in a race with team competition and wondered how to get a team entered?
Welcome to Team Checkers. Starting
this year we will have a link on the Checkers web site strictly for team competition. This is how
it works : Click on to what race you are interested in and sign up. If you know of
a race and it is not listed, just contact the
Team Checkers coordinator and give her the information
on it. This site will be used for marathon teams, Subaru, fall cross-country etc. It will be for
people looking to be put on a team and also for someone who already has a team assembled.
Our new coordinator will be long standing member, Amy Fakterowitz.
Amy has eagerly
accepted this position with a great outlook and the knowledge of competing and
organizing relay
teams. Amy will do her best to insure the opportunity for members to compete on
teams but it is important to pay attention to the deadlines for entering.
